Ongoing programming for youth and caregivers

Peer Enrichment​

Girls* Social Studio

Mondays: 3:30-5pm Ages 10-13

Wednesdays: 4:30-6pm Ages 14-17 â€‹

Girls* Social Studio is a semi structured after school program designed to give neurodivergent girls* a place to unwind and make connections. Groups are small and customized to suit cohorts' interests. Sessions include low pressure games, crafts, conversation and more.   Participants have fun while learning to navigate differences in sensory needs, preferences, and interests in a supportive and developmentally appropriate way.  Enrollment is monthly, with a two month initial commitment required to support group stability.

Tabletop Roleplay ​

​Tuesdays: 4-6:00pm ​Ages 13-17​

​This small group uses collaborative tabletop roleplaying games as a way for neurodivergent youth to connect and build friendships in a structured and engaging format. Participants will create their own characters and collaborate to build an ongoing adventure story.

Parent and Caregiver Support​

Neurodivergent Adolescents

This monthly virtual group is for parents and caregivers of neurodivergent teens and young adults. Each meeting includes a loosely structured topic to guide discussion as well as space for parents to exchange experiences and resources. Topics address evolving needs during adolescence and early adulthood, including online safety, relationships and dating, bullying, and more. Facilitation helps families think through interaction patterns, environmental supports, and the complex social dynamics that often emerge during the teen and young adult years. Enrollment is ongoing; scheduling will be determined based on interest and availability.

Newly Identified Autism Parent Series 

This six-session virtual series is designed for parents and caregivers whose child or teen has been recently identified as autistic. The sessions combine facilitated discussion with opportunities for parents to exchange perspectives, share resources, and reflect on their own family context. Each session includes a focused topic to guide discussion, such as understanding communication profiles, navigating the school environment, supporting autonomy and identity development, and making sense of the many approaches and recommendations families may encounter after diagnosis. The next cohort is expected to begin mid-April, with scheduling determined by participant availability.

 

Groups on this page serve as enrichment and discussion spaces. They are not substitutes for individual speech language therapy and are not eligible for insurance.
